Your stay will start with a welcome glass of bubbly and afternoon tea in the conservatory overlooking the African Lion enclosure, before you’re given an insightful two hour tour of the sanctuary with one of our dedicated team, meeting some of the planet’s most iconic and endangered cats. You will even get up close with some of our smaller cats when the keepers give health checks and enrichment, finding out how we stimulate our cats both mentally and physically, in order to provide a fulfilled life in captivity.
After your afternoon of discovery, return to your lodge to freshen up before a pre-dinner drink in the conservatory where you can watch the antics of the African lion brothers. Our chef will prepare a delicious three-course meal to enjoy whilst face-to-face with African lions, with nothing but glass between you.
Once your day has ended you will retire to your luxury cabin, and listen to the lions roar throughout the night.
Day two begins by waking to the roar of the lions, followed by a full English breakfast, pastries and fresh fruit before embarking on your second VIP tour, meeting the rest of the feline residents. This will be followed with the amazing opportunity to partake in the most unforgettable highlight, a chance to hand feed one of our big cats.
We hope you leave with treasured memories, lots of photos and the knowledge that you have also supported The Big Cat Sanctuary in our quest to protect some of the world’s most iconic species.
