We are currently recruiting for voluntary internships for a period of 6-12 months, working predominantly with our keeping team.
All internships are offered on a voluntary basis and are therefore unpaid. Hours of work are 08.00-18.00 Mar-Oct and 08.00-17.00 Nov-Feb, 5 days a week. Please note, the Big Cat Sanctuary is not accessible by public transport. Please see below for full information and details of how to apply:
Unfortunately, due to the high risk nature of the work we do and the extensive amount of training required to be part of the BCS Team, we do not accept work experience students or applications for short-term work placements.
The Big Cat Sanctuary is dedicated to encouraging research that contributes to the body of scientific knowledge about big cats.
We welcome researchers, including students, who wish to conduct research projects. All researchers must fill out the appropriate application documents and have their proposal accepted before any data collection can take place.
