Invite The Big Cat Sanctuary to your classroom with our off-site school visits.
One of our expert educators will bring a little piece of the Sanctuary to you! Each visit is based on a topic of your choosing, enhanced with interactive activities, big cat artefacts and seized customs items.
Please note that most of our workshops can be adapted for an outreach session so many vary slightly from the website description.
Staff and adults must supervise and manage behaviour at all times.
We do not offer educational outreach visits for children under the age of five. We suggest for reception age classes we visit in the summer term as they will be more used to an educational setting. Any other children or young people in full time education are welcome to book an outreach session as well as those from other educational, charity, or respite groups.
Outreach visits last approximately 1 hour and are priced at £65 for a group within a 20-mile radius. Groups must be no larger than 35 students. Multiple talks must be booked for larger groups. Additional talks booked on the same day can enjoy a discounted price of £45 per session.
If you are within a 20-30 mile radius, a minimum of two sessions must be booked and a travel charge of £1 per a mile will be added.

We offer our Intro to Cats and Conservation talk about what we do at The Big Cat Sanctuary and the importance of cats to our planet with time for questions at the end.
