Getting around outside
The pathways around the site are mostly accessible; however, some parts of the path are stoney and may be harder to navigate with a wheelchair. We are currently expanding our site with exciting new habitats, so some of the sandy pathways are new and taking time to set. Please bear with us during this time. If you need any assistance, please ask a member of staff who will be happy to help.

Customer care support
Accessibility equipment
- Unfortunately, due to the nature of our Sanctuary and the fact that our primary objective is a stress free environment for our cats, no dogs are allowed on site.
- We have an area to charge mobility scooters and battery powered wheelchairs.
- Would be possible in both Heritage Lodge and Founders Lodge
Emergency evacuation procedures
- We do have emergency protocols, but as our site is all on one level and staff guide visitors in the event of an emergency, we have no specific procedures for disabled visitors – they are covered in our general emergency plans.
- We have other services for people with accessibility requirements.
- We will happily discuss any additional support needs or any adjustments that we could make to our experiences, overnight stays and other events. As our site is very open plan, with a majority of it being on one level or with ramp access, we hope we can accommodate all our potential guests and visitors, regardless of their needs.
