Tickets are only £5, and we are allocating 100% of donations directly to Namá conservation, our partners in supporting Jaguar conservation in Costa Rica. Wild jaguars are considered ‘near threatened’ by the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species and this can be for many reasons but mainly due to deforestation, illegal wildlife trade, animal-human conflict, and poaching.
Namá Conservation work tirelessly to protect the wild jaguar species and your donation will help them in support of this. The funds raised will go to many contributing factors, such as camera traps to watch wild jaguars and learn their behaviours for research purposes and to keep track of the population in Costa Rica. This will help to map out the routes of wild jaguars meaning locals and farmers can be aware of the region they roam, so they can protect their livestock and can reduce the conflict between humans and jaguars. Knowing areas where jaguars roam means that we can help to protect the habitat, so their home is not destroyed by deforestation. These are just some of the main factors that your incredible donation will go towards to help protect the jaguar’s species and Inka’s wild cousins.
Not only could you be the first person to hand-feed mischievous Inka, but you will also be helping such an important cause. It is vital to conserve this species; now is the time to act, and this is how you can help!
