We are over the moon to be hosting a charity fundraising day at Skydive Headcorn on Sunday 25th June. We have 18 places up for grabs so if you are an adrenalin junkie who'd like to raise some money for us, or you have always wanted a reason to jump out of a plane... this is for you!
This is also a great opportunity to see the Sanctuary and the cats from above!
A Tandem Skydive is an amazing experience which allows you to jump out of a plane securely attached to a very experienced Skydiving Instructor.
After a training session lasting about 20 minutes the jump is made from c.12, 000 feet and includes a freefall of 30-40 seconds before your instructor opens your parachute. You will be given an opportunity to steer however the instructor remains in control at all times.
The cost per person is £275, this pays for the jump and we suggest a total fundraising target of £500, this leaves a donation of £225 to go the the Sanctuary from each participant. If you think you could exceed this, that'd be amazing. A deposit of £100 will need to be made to secure your place (before 25th April) and then the balance will also need to be paid ten days prior to the event.
The day has 3 sessions which can be booked onto, that is a maximum of 10 people per session, but we hope you will come along and bring family members and friends to support you. We will be there to see you too, we are hoping the sun will shine and it'll be a fab day for everyone involved.
The session times are listed below:
Times: Session 1 – 8.30am Session 2 – 11am Session 3 -1pm
Please follow the link to Skydive Headcorn's website below to book your place as well as to see the terms and conditions, participants need to quote ‘Big Cats’ next to the 25th June date on the booking form to ensure inclusion to our day.
