Important Covid Update
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Saturday 31st October we are sad to confirm that The Big Cat Sanctuary will be temporarily closed from Thursday 5th November 2020.
Our members are so important to us and at this time we need you more than ever to allow us to continue to provide the first-class welfare, food and care for our cats. We will keep our members up to date with all the latest information on The Big Cat Sanctuary via email & Social Media channels.

Lodge & Experience Bookings…
For those who were due to participate in a lodge stay or experience between 5th November 2020 and 2nd December 2020, one of our dedicated team will be in contact with you over the coming weeks to reschedule your visit to an alternative date (subject to availability).
We would like to thank you for your patience and for bearing with us.
If you would like to book a lodge stay or one of our experiences for 2021, please visit here
If you have an event, corporate day or wedding booked….
If you have an up-coming event with us and we are forced into a situation where we must postpone (party, corporate event, wedding etc) or you decide you would rather postpone to an alternative date in the future (due to suppliers cancelling, family members not being able to travel etc), we are more than happy to change your date to another mutually agreeable date free of charge. If you have not already been in contact with your personal event organiser, please do not hesitate to contact them.
How to continue supporting The Big Cat Sanctuary through the second lock down?
It is always the sanctuary’s priority to keep the cats happy and healthy. It costs the sanctuary around £3,000 a day to operate. This amount covers cost of food, vet treatment, animal husbandry, bedding and the vital team members they need to care for their animals on a daily basis.
A donation of just £5 will give all our cats warm straw beds for the night and £15 would cover the costs of looking after a little cat like Nuwara the Rusty-spotted cat for a day. £25 could pay for a months bed & water for a cat, £50 covers this plus heating and medical supplements and £100 could feed one of our cats for a week.
