The Big Cat Sanctuary is closed


We are devastated by this news but must continue to stay positive and act in the best interests of our cats at this time.

Sadly, we have made the decision that as of 5pm today (Saturday 21st March 2020), The Big Cat Sanctuary will be closed until further notice.

Although The Big Cat Sanctuary is an open space allowing the recommended social distancing measures to be adhered to, in light of the PM’s recent announcements and the increased self-isolation guidelines, we feel this is the best decision in the short term.

 If you are a member…

Our members are so important to us and at this time we need you more than ever to allow us to continue to provide the first class welfare, food and care for our cats.

 If you have an experience booked….

All experiences are suspended until the end of May at the moment.  If you have not heard from our team already, please do not worry as they are working hard to contact everybody to arrange vouchers for you to re-book again in the future.

 If you have an event, corporate day or wedding booked….

If you have an up-coming event with us and we are forced into a situation where we must postpone (party, corporate event, wedding etc) or you decide you would rather postpone to an alternative date in the future (due to suppliers cancelling, family members not being able to travel etc), we are more than happy to change your date to another mutually agreeable date free of charge.  If you have not already been in contact with your personal event organiser, please do not hesitate to contact them.
